After 2 years with Food Roots, it is time we say goodbye to our beloved Storefront Coordinator, Joy as she moves into a position with the Tillamook School Di
strict. While Joy will miss the customers, donors, producers, and coworkers at Food Roots, she says she is move excited to grow into another position where she can use her people skills to assist a different part of the community.
Don’t worry though, Joy is planning to stick around in a few ways. Joy says she’s interested in figuring out how to partner with Food Roots in a more engaged capacity through the Junior High Food Pantry and how to connect more local families to local food. And keep your eyes peeled around town - you may see Joy getting in a few more motorcycle rides or surfing the tides before summer comes to a close.
