What is Seed to Supper?
Seed to Supper is a free six-week course that gives novice adult gardeners the tools they need to successfully grow their own food.
Participants will receive a course book and starter supplies, including a gardening trowel, seeds and plant starts, and a certificate of completion to get them going on their gardening season. Participants will learn how to build healthy soil, plot out their growing spaces, plant climate-appropriate crops, and care for and harvest their bounty.
How do I participate in
Seed to Supper?
The 2020 Spring Seed to Supper Classes were cancelled due to the Covid-19 global pandemic.
If you registered for one of our 2020 Seed to Supper classes, please email Julia Wentzel with any questions and for access to free gardening resources, or give us a call at 503-815-2800.
We will be working with our community partners in the Fall to begin planning Seed to Supper classes for Spring 2021.
