2020 has been a very busy year for Food Roots FarmTable. We have been working hard to make changes to our programming to support our community during this challenging time, from adding a new online ordering platform for FarmTable to dreaming up partnerships to expand our reach and impact. Over the past year we have seen more of our community choosing to purchase locally grown food and FarmTable has provided the opportunity to fill that demand.
The following entities have provided Food Roots with support for its FarmTable program during our response to Covid-19:
Adventist Health, Tillamook Creamery, Northwest Farm Credit Services, Oregon Coast Visitors Association, Oregon Community Foundation, TLC Fibre Federal Credit Union, Oregon Food Bank, De Garde Brewing and numerous individuals.
With specific support received from the Tillamook County Board of Commissioners through the 2020 Covid-19 Relief Fund, Columbia Pacific CCO through North Coast Food Web, and Oregon Coast Visitors Association, Food Roots was able to purchase a delivery vehicle (pictured) that will enable the organization to launch a partnership delivery service with Nehalem Provisions through FarmTable this Spring.
