Our Mission: Food Roots exists to cultivate a healthy food system for our North Coast of Oregon community. 

Our Promise: More local food produced in our region and access to that food (for all consumers, no matter their income); increase in community assets; support for beginning and existing farmers; and strenthening of our regional economy. To do this, we forge strong and fruitful partnerships, educate youth and families, and empower communities and individuals to be more food self-reliant.

Much of the work that we accomplish at Food Roots is done through the commitment of dedicated volunteers. Your donations help us to keep our programs growing and supports our efforts and vision for a healthy and vibrant North Coast of Oregon through local food.
