2018 CSA’s Available at the Food Roots’ Storefront on Tuesdays

Beginning this spring you can pick up a weekly CSA share at our Tillamook storefront. We have partnered with three Tillamook County farms to provide a Tillamook pick up location for their CSA programs. If you’re not familiar with the term CSA, it stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is a relationship between community members/customers and a small farm. Members buy vegetable “shares” at the beginning of the season. A share is a weekly box of produce, delivered to a local drop spot for a set period of time, generally during a region’s “high” produce season. Members commit to a whole season, allowing the farmer to offset early season costs. Members receive an abundance and variety of nutritious vegetables over the course of the growing season. Review the following CSA opportunities for pick up at our storefront this 2018 season:

Moon River Farm May through October shares
Corvus Landing Farm July through November shares
Green Fork Farm June through October shares
